A striking hand-blown Murano glass vase by celebrated Italian glassmaker Carlo Moretti, dating to 2010. The tall, gently tapered form features broad vertical fields of vivid cobalt blue, opaque ivory-white, and clear glass, intersected at the center by a translucent ruby-red horizontal band. The overlapping colors and varying degrees of transparency create an architectural, almost Mondrian-like composition that changes with the light and viewing angle. Its substantial scale and bold geometry allow the vase to function equally well as a flower vessel or a freestanding work of Italian art glass. Signed Carlo Moretti and retaining its original Carlo Moretti “Made in Italy” label.
