Copyright and Intellectual Property

Ultra Local LA attributes listings to their public sources and provides a direct process for dealers and rights holders to raise content concerns.

Effective July 27, 2026 · Plain-language draft for attorney review

Source attribution principles

Ultra Local is a discovery index, not the seller of listed products. Product pages identify the dealer or source, link visitors to the dealer's product page when available, and use source information to help people understand where a listing came from.

Attribution does not transfer ownership, create an affiliation, or mean that Ultra Local claims ownership of a dealer's photographs, descriptions, names, trademarks, or other source material. Ultra Local may correct, limit, or remove indexed material when source identity, authorization, or rights are reasonably disputed.

Report a content concern

Use the About feedback form, choose “Copyright or IP concern,” and provide a reply email. This is the current reporting channel for a dealer, creator, photographer, trademark owner, authorized representative, or other rights holder.

Information to include

  • Your name, role, and reliable reply contact.
  • The copyrighted work, trademark, listing, or other material you are concerned about.
  • The exact Ultra Local product, dealer, or page URL where the material appears.
  • The original or authorized source URL, if available.
  • A short explanation of your rights or authority to act and the action you are requesting.
  • Any facts that would help distinguish an attribution error, authorization issue, ownership dispute, or other concern.

Please do not send sensitive identity documents through the general feedback form unless requested through a verified follow-up channel.

What happens after a report

Ultra Local will review the identified page and available source evidence. Where appropriate during that review, Ultra Local may correct attribution, restrict public access, remove disputed material, or request more information. A review is not a determination of ownership or a substitute for legal advice, and this draft does not promise a fixed response period.

Rights are not waived

Submitting a concern through this process does not waive the reporter's, dealer's, creator's, platform's, or any other person's rights, claims, defenses, remedies, or ability to use another lawful process.

DMCA registration status

No current designated-agent registration was verified during the implementation audit. Ultra Local therefore does not claim DMCA safe-harbor registration on this page. This general reporting process is not presented as a substitute for any formal notice procedure counsel determines is required.
