About Ultra Local LA

Ultra Local LA exists to make exceptional design easier to discover—and to connect people with the businesses that actually source, make, restore, and stand behind it.

We bring together distinctive furniture, lighting, art, and objects from independent vintage dealers, original manufacturers, designers, makers, and other direct sources across Los Angeles. We help people see across this fragmented creative world without turning it into another marketplace or inserting ourselves into the transaction.

Every product should lead back to an accountable source: the dealer who found it, the maker who produced it, the studio that designed it, or the manufacturer authorized to sell it. We filter out drop-shippers, anonymous middlemen, copied inventory, and mass-produced goods presented as original discovery. We do not want a larger catalog at any cost. We want a more trustworthy one.

We care deeply about Los Angeles and the people who contribute directly to its creative culture: dealers who develop an eye over decades, makers and manufacturers who create original work, restorers who preserve important pieces, and independent businesses that give the city its character.

We will not always get everything right. We are continually improving how we identify original sources, evaluate inventory, and reduce misleading or low-value listings. If you see something that does not belong, encounter a bug, or know a local source we should include, please tell us.

Our goal is not to sell everything. It is to make the things—and the people—worth finding easier to find.
