Mid-century brutalist "Eyelash" copper wall mirror by Curtis Jere, handcrafted in the United States and signed and dated, circa 1970s. A rare example of one of Curtis Jere’s most celebrated designs transforms hand-worked copper into a sculptural piece that is equally compelling as a mirror and as a work of art. Its dramatic radiating silhouette, layered textures, and rich metallic tones embody the bold creativity that defined American Brutalist design. Each copper strip was individually cut, formed, and welded by hand, creating remarkable depth and movement across the surface. The intentionally exposed welds and varied lengths celebrate the handmade process, while brass accents complement the warm copper hues. Over decades, the metal has developed a naturally aged patina, giving the mirror exceptional character and making every example uniquely its own.
