The top,, features exquisite parquetry inlay with a diamond pattern of book-matched walnut veneer, framed by a chamfered edge. • Three graduated bombé drawers: two small over two large, with deeply carved rocaille cartouches and scrolling acanthus ornamentation. • Central carved shell medallions and foliate scrolls with a dark wax patina that highlights every detail. • Fluted legs with hoof feet and carved apron with a central shell motif. • Original Rocaille bronze hardware - pierced floral knobs on top drawers and scrolled handles on lower drawers, in darkened patina. • The bleached, cerused finish reveals the beautiful grain of the oak while maintaining an authentic, time-worn, Gustavian-inspired character. This is not a reproduction from a big box store; this is a true cabinetmaker's commode with hand-carved
