Dating back centuries, Indian women stitched together old saris to create large blankets and floor cloths. We attentively pick each quilt, typically 60-80 years old, with an eye toward material integrity and unusual beauty. This one-of-a-kind quilt is a vibrant patchwork of vertical panels in violet, rose, teal, and gold, pieced from an array of vintage sari fabrics, with a few tiny florals and prints scattered throughout. It's shampooed multiple times then softened so it's easy to snuggle with, never crunchy, and yet durable enough to use for upholstery.
