A nice Mumuye wood carved mask in the shape of a bush cow or buffalo. It was apparently used in celebrations or ceremonies. It has a beautiful stand with Lucite and metal. Quite a few cracks and losses from age and probably use, please see the detailed photos. Paint looks faded as well. The mask alone measures approximate 18 inches deep, 8 inches and 16 inches tall. Dimensions below include the stand.
