A striking hand-blown Murano glass vase signed by Camozzo, Italy, late 20th century. The tall sculptural body is rendered in richly saturated dark amethyst glass, appearing nearly black in subdued light while revealing deep plum and aubergine tones along its thinner edges. The flared mouth is individually hand-formed into a dramatic, undulating ruffled rim, giving the vase an expressive organic silhouette. Thick applied ribbons of clear, gold-flecked glass spiral around the body and base, creating luminous contrast and a dynamic sense of movement. Impressive in scale and beautiful from every angle, this substantial vase functions equally well as a floral vessel or standalone work of Italian art glass.
