Jean Prouvé Style / France French, Mid-Century table lamp from the 1970s. Designed in a Jean Prouvé influenced style with an enameled metal shade in beige and black that echoes slightly the windows found in Prouvé's "Maison Tropical". A handsome square marble base holds the hardware and black enameled metal stem. The lamp is in original condition and has a patina that is appropriate for its age and use.
