A stunning craft bench made studio piece likely from the 1970’s fashioned out of walnut. It is a floating cabinet with no legs meant to have or be mounted on a wall. It has an elegant carved front with nicely detailed peg finishes on top. There are two doors which open to three interior compartments. On the bottom right side is a sliding shelf for a turntable. There are adjustable peg holes for shells but only one shelf included. There are three nicely crafted drawers. The center section is likely for records. There is a switch attached with an extension for a plug in. When we found the piece in an estate it was missing its back so we had a thin walnut veneer piece added. The cabinet has beautiful rich graining and is in generally nice overall condition but there is a water stain circle on top, pictured. There are minor scuff marks and surface scratches throughout from age and use.
