Signed Oil Painting of Seated Lady by Grace Elizabeth Mallon Untitled oil painting of a seated lady in a large feathered hat. This art work is in it's original wood frame. Grace Elizabeth Mallon was born in Elizabeth, NJ on Nov. 1, 1911. Mallon studied at the Newark School of Fine Arts. By the 1930s she had settled in Hollywood where she continued her art studies at Chouinard and Otis art institutes, and with Ralph Holmes, Phil Paradise, and Millard Sheets. She then worked in the art departments of Disney, Universal Studios, Fairbanks Films, Churchill-Wexler Films, and Hanna-Barbera Studios until 1973. Mallon died in Hollywood, CA on Dec. 16, 1997.
