Oribe is a decorative style dating back over 400 years, found in both the Seto and Mino kiln areas. Oribe yaki is named after the tea master Furuta Oribe (1544-1615). The decoration is known for its whimsical nature, with an iron oxide under white shino and copper-green accents. 19th century 9.125" x 7.875" x 2.375" (length, width, height) C-Y3689
