About

An elegant ebonized three‑door credenza (meuble d’appui) richly mounted with gilt‑bronze (ormolu) and fitted with a projecting white marble top with canted corners. Each door is inset with polychrome Chinoiserie/Japanned lacquer panels depicting landscape and pavilion scenes, set within molded frames and flanked by foliate ormolu mounts. The frieze is adorned with pierced gilt panels and a central arabesque mount; additional corner mounts and escutcheons provide refined neoclassical accents. The case stands on shaped bracket feet.
