An exceptional and richly ornamented 19th century French Boulle cartel clock with matching pedestal, executed in the grand Louis XIV revival tradition and displaying extraordinary sculptural and decorative presence. The clock case is veneered in deep ebonized wood, lavishly inlaid with brass Boulle marquetry forming scrolling foliate and arabesque patterns across the façade and sides.
