A beautifully tailored pair of decorative pillows crafted from authentic Fortuny printed cotton in the celebrated Moresco pattern, one of the Venetian atelier’s most recognizable and enduring designs. The front panels feature the distinctive Moresco motif—an elegant composition of scrolling vines, stylized ivy leaves, and clusters of grapes rendered in softly layered pigments. The pattern is printed in muted taupe and olive tones against a warm terra-cotta ground, creating the richly atmospheric surface for which Fortuny textiles are renowned. Originally developed by Mariano Fortuny and produced by the historic Venetian textile house Fortuny, the design reflects Fortuny’s fascination with Renaissance and Mediterranean decorative traditions. The hand-printed process gives the fabric its signature depth and subtle tonal variation, lending the pillows a softly aged, painterly quality. The reverse sides are finished in natural linen, offering a refined contrast to the richly colored Fortuny textile.
