About

Best known for his surf, fantasy, and California visionary work, Bill Ogden had a gift for building complete visual worlds. This painting shows another side of that imagination—prehistoric, theatrical, and beautifully strange. Lost world energy runs through the whole scene. T-Rex crouches in the jungle. Triceratops graze in the distance. Hadrosaurs wade through ancient water while pterosaurs move overhead. The composition feels cinematic, immersive, and full of motion. Earthy color, painterly texture, and fine drawn detail keep the piece grounded even as the subject slips fully into mythic terrain. A strong original for collectors of California art, fantasy painting, natural history imagery, and vintage works with real visual adventure. Artist: Bill Ogden Title: Untitled (Dinosaur Fantasy World) Medium: Likely acrylic or mixed media on stretched canvas Era: 1970s
