Jorge Zalszupin Style / Netherlands Rectangular studio craft coffee table featuring an unusual downward curved slatted teak top and an ingenious articulated mechanism: lift from the center and each slat rises in sequence. The half-round wood shell base conceals a storage compartment below. Splayed solid wood legs and contrasting grey undercarriage give the piece a bold, sculptural profile. Minor wear consistent with age, including repair to one of the slats.
