A mahogany linen press from England, circa 1750. In two parts, the upper cabinet section with dark-stained projecting molded cornice with carved dentil detail, over a pair of paneled doors with carved wood rosettes to each corner, opening to reveal four sliding shelves. The lower section enclosing two half-width drawers and two full-width drawers, raised on bracket feet. Mounted with nicely detailed floral-cast and reeded gilt bronze pulls with oval backplates.
