This large, mid-19th century Moroccan wall hanging, or hiti, is a a fine textile, hand made in of Fez, it is crafted of silk velvet. The tow panels wall hanging makes it a magnificent backdrop for special occasions. Artisans in Fez had been creating sumptuous wall hangings like this since the 16th century.
