Large Moroccan Moorish pendant chandelier, handcrafted circa 1940 from pierced and hand-hammered brass with a rich, dark bronze patina. This impressive six-foot-tall light fixture features intricate hand-cut floral and geometric openwork accented with jewel-toned red and blue glass cabochons. When illuminated, the pierced brass chandelier produces a warm atmospheric glow and casts delicate patterns of light and shadow. Its unusually tall, narrow proportions make it an exceptional statement light for a grand entry hall, staircase, vaulted room or other high-ceilinged interior. The brass chandelier body measures approximately 59 inches high and 28 inches in diameter. Overall height is 72 inches, including the original three-point suspension chains.
