Authentic vintage Moroccan tribal rug, handwoven in wool during the 1960s and attributed to the Taznakht weaving tradition of southern Morocco. This one-of-a-kind Berber textile measures 60 inches wide by 102 inches long—152.4 cm wide by 259.08 cm long—or approximately 5 feet by 8 feet 6 inches. Its versatile scale, low wool pile and richly aged palette make it suitable for a living room, library, bedroom, entry hall or layered designer interior. The rug features a warm brown field organized around three prominent geometric medallions. Ivory lateral motifs frame the central composition, while accents of orange, pink, cream and deeper brown introduce color and visual rhythm. The asymmetry and subtle variations within the pattern reflect the hand of the weaver and distinguish the piece from a machine-made carpet. Its design is bold enough to anchor a room while remaining easy to coordinate with natural woods, leather, plaster, stone and neutral upholstery. Handwoven and hand-knotted by Moroccan Berber artisans, traditionally women, the rug demonstrates techniques passed through weaving communities from one generation to another. The wool is described as traditionally vegetable-dyed, producing the softly aged and varied colors visible throughout the surface.
