Handcrafted Moroccan Moorish pierced metal wall sconce shade, featuring a dramatic tapered cone form decorated with hand-cut stars, crescent moons and geometric openwork. Made in Morocco, the shade has a rich dark rust-brown patinated finish that gives the metal warmth, depth and an appealing artisanal character. The upper section is pierced with celestial star and crescent motifs, while a broad central band of repeating diamond-shaped cutouts creates a contrasting geometric pattern. When placed over a light source, the pierced metalwork allows illumination to pass through the openings, producing decorative points and patterns of light against the surrounding wall.
