I bought this painting twenty two years ago from the lady who knew Mary Guggenheim, she is the one on the left of Mary Guggenheim in the picture (the one with the piece of paper on her face) this is a self portrait of Mary Guggenheim, Mary came from the iconic Guggenheim family, the painting was painted in Paris, the pictures are of Mary Guggenheim in her workshop in Paris.
