Luciano Frigerio / Italy Brutalist-inspired 'Swashbuckler' loveseat by Luciano Frigerio, Italy, 1970s. Carved wood frame with splayed rectangular legs and a wraparound barrel back; medium tan-brown leather upholstery is laced through slotted frame cutouts and finished with nailhead trim along the crest rail. The construction reflects Frigerio's Como-based practice, combining Italian artisan woodworking with bold, sculptural formal choices drawn from Brazilian Brutalist influence. Retains original leather and frame with light wear appropriate to age. A matching pair of lounge chairs are listed separately (S900).
