An exceptional example of American mid-century design, this iconic Model #452 executive desk was designed by Edward J. Wormley for Dunbar in 1957. Showcasing a refined balance of form and function, the desk features a beautifully crafted solid mahogany frame complemented by richly grained Brazilian rosewood accents that add depth and contrast throughout. The design is as versatile as it is elegant. A hinged rear writing surface drops down, effortlessly transforming the desk into a partner’s desk, ideal for collaborative workspaces or open-plan interiors. The top is fitted with two sculptural tambour doors in Brazilian rosewood, which roll up smoothly to reveal thoughtfully organized storage, including two drawers on the left and an open compartment on the right for larger essentials.
