Woven as a yarn dye jacquard, the Aster Coverlet by Nickey Kehoe was inspired by a vintage block print. Finished with a vert fringe to add an interesting textured detail. Make it a set with our matching Aster Jacquard Shams. This coverlet pattern, along with the entire Nickey Kehoe Quilt Collection, is inspired by a beautiful, turn of the century book of hand-blocked textile samples unearthed by Todd and Amy during a visit to the South of France. This perfectly patinaed book, along with an impressive collection of patterned textiles gathered from their years of treasure hunting, was a source of inspiration and hallowed guide for this carefully curated collection of four unique quilt patterns. Perfecting each pattern's color, scale, repeat and printing technique has been Todd and Amy’s labor of love. The result is a unique and modern homage to beautiful artisanship of years past.
