The Dawn Table Lamp is a gentle weave of base and shade in natural rattan, meticulously crafted. The lamp’s framework is in antique brass, a call back to earlier times when a single light was a patriot’s cry. As you listen to the storm approach you sip your tea by the fire remembering how she positioned each chime to signal the wind’s direction. The chimes on the southeast side of the house are shown no mercy; lights on. The lamp is UL certified and uses standard US medium-base bulbs, with a maximum recommended wattage of 40W per socket. Woven by skilled hands using only natural rattan, the patina of this piece is intended to evolve. Time and light will gently transform it, lending character that cannot be rushed or replicated.
