Large 1960s Sergio Mazza Glass and Metal Ceiling or Wall Lamp for Artemide A minimalist Italian design executed in chrome, white painted metal and pressed (holpohane) glass. When lit, the shade diffuses a warm, soft glow. Glass sits in a chromed metal ring with a lovely patina. Can be mounted to the wall or the ceiling. Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility.
