Rare 1950s Robert Mathieu 5-Shade Multi Color Chandelier. Executed in multi color original painted metal diabolo shades with star perforations. Beautiful vintage patina on the stem and shades. A bright and sculptural chandelier highly indicative of the iconic mid-century Italian designs of Stilnovo and their influence on the work of Robert Mathieu and French lighting. Professionally rewired for U.S. electrical. Ceiling canopy mounts to U.S. j-box. Accommodates five 75w max equivalent LED medium base bulbs. Dimmable according to switch.
