A handsome three-module Carl Straub style modular lounge sofa in solid beech with original mohair upholstery, made in Denmark circa the 1970s. Each armless module features a tufted back cushion with button detail and a generous seat cushion, all set within a clean rectangular beech frame with softly rounded front legs. The modules connect seamlessly to form a low-slung, relaxed three-seat sofa with a distinctly warm, Scandinavian modernist sensibility. The warm tobacco and olive tone of the original mohair reads beautifully against the honey beech frames. Can be configured together as a sofa or separated as individual lounge chairs.
