The frame is built from solid turned wood in a deep walnut-toned finish, with Dudouyt's signature bobbin-turned legs, ball finials at each post, and a structured spindle back that gives the piece an almost architectural quality. The seat is woven in natural rope in a tight, tactile pattern that adds warmth and texture without competing with the woodwork. The proportions are generous and upright, making this as much a statement piece as it is a functional chair. A warm and tactile example of French postwar craft at its best.
