Libero Greco designed the "Ruga" for Velda Salotti in the 1960s, channeling the same soft, tufted maximalism that defined Italian leather seating of the era — "ruga" is Italian for wrinkle or fold, a nod to the sofa's deeply channeled, cloud-like silhouette. This three-seat example is upholstered in a rich cognac leather, its quilted diamond stitching catching light across every curve. The rolled, bolster-like arms and back give it a sculptural, almost architectural presence despite the plush comfort underneath. One available. Made in Italy, 1960s.
