Vittorio Parigi and Nani Prina designed the Orix for Molteni in 1971, molding it entirely from a single piece of ABS plastic — the only ABS piece Molteni produced that decade. It's pure space-age optimism: a sculptural, one-piece body that holds a hinged glass work surface, integrated storage, and a retractable chrome lamp, all without a single seam breaking the form. This example carries that unmistakable silhouette in its original glossy finish, sitting on a slim chromed tubular steel base that keeps the whole piece feeling light despite its bold shape.
