Mario Bellini designed the Tentazione — Italian for "temptation" — for Cassina in 1973, model 685. It sits between two of his other icons: less pillowy than the later Le Bambole, but built on the same molded-polyurethane, no-visible-seams philosophy that defined his 1970s work. This example has been newly upholstered in a plush Italian wool, its texture playing up the sofa's soft, rounded contours rather than sharpening them. One available. Made in Italy, 1980s.
