Heavily influenced by the sportstugemöbler (vacation cabin furniture) aesthetic popularized in 1930s–1950s Sweden, this piece bridges the gap between folk-art Brutalism and organic modernism. The chair features a pine frame with carved scalloped apron under the seat frame that softens its blocky, architectural lines. The chair has sculpted wide armrests and an interlocking hemp rope weave at the seat.
