Paul McCobb credenza for Calvin Furniture, c.1950s. Part of his Irwin Collection, this mahogany sideboard features a cabinet floating on a square-stock solid brass frame, with architectural cross-stretching for structural stability and a striking geometric profile. The left side of the credenza has a multi-paneled tri-folding door which opens to reveal an adjustable interior shelf, while the right side has five drawers each adorned with McCobb's signature miniature brass pull-knobs.
