Jan Hoogervorst / Anvia / Netherlands "The fishing rod" or "Flying Duke" lamp by designer Jan Hoogervorst is one of the most iconic lighting products from the Dutch lighting industry. Hoogervorst was a Mid-Century designer and designed the so-called 'Annual Collections' for ANVIA from the early 1950s to the early 1980s. Since 2015 the company has been reproducing his most popular designs. The ANVIA fishing rod lamp is based on the original design from the late 1950s / early 1960s with a unique gimbal mechanism that ensures you can position the retro ceiling lamp freely. The lamp is easy to raise, lower and secure with the knurled nuts. The lampshade itself can also be adjusted to various positions. This means that the lamp has countless settings, which makes it very user-friendly. Takes a standard medium base E26/27 bulb.
